Federal False Claims Act15–25% of the recovery if the government intervenes; 25–30% if not31 U.S.C. § 3730(d)

Kansas law does not pay whistleblowers a share of state recoveries through a false claims lawsuit, so the federal programs are the main route to a reward.

Kansas False Claims Act has NO qui tam: K.S.A. 75-7504(b) says the act creates no private cause of action (except employee retaliation, 75-7506), so relatorShare is null. The only payment to tipsters is the K.S.A. 75-727 reward (max $5,000). Act not on HHS-OIG DRA review list as of 2026-10-20. A secondary source mentions an AG Medicaid fraud hotline (866) 551-6328; not confirmed on the current AG page. The old URL ag.ks.gov/file-a-complaint/medicaid-fraud now returns 404. ag.ks.gov and dol.ks.gov sometimes return 403 to scripts but loaded with browser headers.
