Federal False Claims Act15–25% of the recovery if the government intervenes; 25–30% if not31 U.S.C. § 3730(d)

Arkansas law does not pay whistleblowers a share of state recoveries through a false claims lawsuit, so the federal programs are the main route to a reward.

The Arkansas act has no qui tam provision: only the state can sue, and tipsters can get only a discretionary reward from the AG. Arkansas Code is not free on any official .gov host. The reward wording comes from the existing-law (unmarked) text of § 20-77-911(e) shown in 2023 Interim Study Proposal ISP-2023-071 (SB 518). That proposal would have changed it to 10% of total funds collected, capped at $10,000; it was referred to interim study and no enactment was found. Law-firm summaries mention a court-awarded reward of up to 10% of the aggregate penalty, capped at $100,000. That could not be confirmed from an official source and is left out. Not on the HHS-OIG DRA review list as of 2026-10-20.
